Our red grape fibre is obtained from the dried skins, seeds, and pulp remaining after the winemaking process. Classified as a functional food ingredient, it has been widely studied for its antioxidant and antimicrobial activity. The ingredient is characterised by a high dietary fibre content — approximately 50–75% of dry matter — and a substantial concentration of polyphenolic compounds, including anthocyanins, flavanols, and resveratrol. Reported levels of these polyphenols may exceed those found in the corresponding whole grapes or red wine, depending on cultivar and processing conditions.
